Coach Bill Fleming started his head coaching career in the small town of Maquoketa, Iowa. He lead his teams to 500 wins in 33 years winning 17 conference titles and finishing 2nd 11 other years. His teams played in six State Tournaments and went to the Sub State Final six other years. They were ranked in The Top Ten in the state an astounding 27 years!

Coach Fleming worked for the legendary John Wooden of UCLA 7 summers at his basketball camps. Fleming was inducted into The Iowa Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006. Over 80 of his former players or campers have become coaches themselves! He has even spent his ‘retirement’ as an assistant coach to one of his former players: Rocky Lamar. Together they led the basketball team at MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas to FOUR straight NAIA Final Fours and a National Championship in 2007. They also finished as the National Runner-Up in 2001. Coach Fleming continues to give individual lessons to young players in the Des moines area.
